A one-part, low modulus fire-resisting silicone sealant that cures on exposure to moisture vapour, forming a highly elastic silicone rubber. Designed with excellent adhesion to concrete and other common construction substrates, Arbosil 1070 meets the stringent requirements of modern construction projects.

Ideal for sealing movement joints and other critical details to prevent the passage of fire. Not recommended for use in floor joints unless specifically approved by ARBO Technical Services.

Main Applications
Arbosil 1070 is for movement joints and critical sealing details where fire resistance and long-term elasticity are required.
Movement Joints
Seals movement joints in fire-rated construction, accommodating up to 50% movement in butt joints and 100% in lap joints.
Concrete & Masonry
Excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry and other common construction substrates without the need for a primer in most applications.
External Joints
Very good UV resistance makes it suitable for external joint sealing applications with a 25-year+ service life.
Fire-Retardant Glazing
Used in conjunction with Arboseal Intumescent Tape for fire-retardant glazing systems.
