Arbosil1081 - Acetoxy Cure Silicone for Sanitary and Aquarium Applications
ARBOSEAL Pro® Arbosil 1081 is a one-part acetoxy cure silicone sealant designed for sanitary applications. The White and Black variants contain fungicide to inhibit mould and mildew growth, while the Translucent variant is fungicide-free and safe for use in fish tanks and aquariums. All variants cure on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable, flexible seal with a 25+ year service life.

Unique properties of ARBOSEAL Pro® Arbosil 1081
ARBOSEAL Pro® Arbosil 1081 covers standard sanitary sealing with mould inhibition (White/Black) and specialist aquarium and fish tank applications (Translucent).
White and Black variants contain fungicide — actively inhibits mould and mildew in wet areas
Translucent variant is fungicide-free — aquarium-safe and suitable for fish tanks
Rapid cure — skin time of 20 minutes at 20°C for fast return to service
Flexible and adhesive — Shore A hardness of 20 with 25% butt joint movement accommodation
Suitable for sanitary ware including baths, showers, sinks, and kitchen worktops
25+ year service life — meets BS EN 11600 F/G – 20 HM and BS5889:1989 Type B
