Ensure a fast, reliable roofing solution with RESITRIX® EPDM membranes.
Our high-performance waterproofing systems are designed for durability and ease of installation. Paired with our specialist RESITRIX® tools, the process becomes even more efficient – helping you get the job done quicker, with less hassle.
What tools do you need to install RESITRIX® EPDM waterproofing membranes?
Our single-layer RESITRIX® waterproofing membranes combine the durability of EPDM synthetic rubber with a polymer-modified bitumen backing. This hot-air weldable system is available in several variants to suit different application methods, including partially or fully self-adhesive membranes (RESITRIX® SK W Full Bond and Partial Bond), mechanically fastened (RESITRIX® MB), or traditionally bonded using PU adhesive (RESITRIX® CL). Regardless of the variant, all membranes can be welded quickly and securely using hot air – eliminating the need for an open flame.
For installation, you will need a hot-air welding machine and only a few, particularly light, personal tools:
Manual welding device (e.g. Leister with a nozzle width of 4 cm)
Silicone pressure roller (width: 4 cm)
Wire brush
Brass pressure roller (width: 6mm)
Scissors
Folding ruler or tape measure
