Overview
As part of the regeneration of the local area to create new homes, Barnet Homes demolished six blocks to make way for two new apartment buildings ranging from 3 to 6 storey in height and accomodating 33 homes with 900 m² roofing area.
The Project
Roofing contractor PLAN Construction Solutions opted to install RESITRIX hybrid EPDM membranes due to ease of installation and robustness of the system. One of the key consideration by the main contractor choosing the waterproofing layer was of having a consistent thickness across the roof. RESITRIX SKW has an overall thickness of 2.5mm and with a service life of 50 years, it is an industry-leading waterproofing solution.
