More about the CIF process

The CARLISLE® Roof Review Service for Schools & Academies

Your school building is one of your most important and valuable assets, therefore, it is paramount that you provide a safe and comfortable environment for pupils, employees and others frequenting it. Maintaining or improving a secure, waterproof roof is important because replacing a defective roof is expensive and can cause significant disruption. CARLISLE offer a range of solutions that ensure easy and minimal maintenance programs which can help prevent long term problems such as water ingress and subsequent damage to the building. You can source assistance with these repairs through school grants from the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) in the form of CIF funding (condition improvement fund) or SCA (school capital funding).

Our technical team are on hand to provide you with all the information you will require to make informed decisions when it comes to refurbishing a school roof, by highlighting the key indicators of a failing roof. They can also offer practical advice for other areas of consideration such as safe installation methods, potential hazards and timescales which will help ensure you choose the best solution.

Quality Assurance and Guarantees

During the course of several years and many successfully completed school projects, we have a developed a robust and thorough QA procedure to ensure the highest quality installation. Our highly skilled and experienced technical team carry out regular site inspections, issue full reports throughout and conduct a final inspection.

When the project is complete you will receive a 20 Year Carlisle® Extended Guarantee to further support your CIF bid.

CIF Application?

Preparing a CIF application can be an onerous and time consuming task, even for an experienced school bursar or estates manager.
