CARLISLE supporting a sustainable future for learning environments

Team CARLISLE CM Europe is exhibiting in Education Estates Show at Manchester Central. It is the annual gathering of the education community in partnership with the Department for Education.

CARLISLE roofing team will be exhibiting to support the education sector, local authorities and councils with new and refurbished roofs. During the show, our technical will be at hand to offer any advice on CIF funding and schools can book a  FREE roof condition survey to support their funding application.

We offer a range of waterproofing solutions that ensure easy and minimal roof maintenance which can help prevent long-term problems such as water ingress and subsequent damage to the building. Education institutions, Schools & Colleges in the UK can source assistance with roof repairs through school grants from the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) in the form of CIF funding (condition improvement fund) or SCA (school capital funding).

In 2020 the Department for Education announced £560m in funding for academies, sixth-form colleges and voluntary aided schools across England to transform facilities and improve school buildings. In addition, a ten-year school rebuilding and refurbishment programme also started, with £1bn in funding assigned to the first 50 projects. And a further £1.5bn investment that will transform colleges over the next 5 years was kicked off in 2020 with repairs and refurbishments starting on 180 colleges across the country.

The 2-day show will take place on the 18th & 19th of October and thousands of industry professionals are expected to attend.
